Asterium requires user authentication via Apple's "Sign in with Apple" framework to securely identify your account across your iOS and iPadOS devices.
This authentication process is securely insulated by Apple, meaning your raw personal credentials or password information are never shared with or known to our systems.
Unlike some of our other database-free applications, Asterium connects securely to your account's dedicated repository within our shared TypeScript backend and MongoDB Atlas cluster.
To ensure you can securely access your custom creations across devices, Asterium stores your custom, AI-generated correspondences and personal spells inside this database. No other telemetry or personal background data is held.
Asterium provides optional AI-driven features to help brainstorm and generate custom spells or magical correspondences.
The prompts you submit to these tools are processed securely via approved AI service providers solely to return your requested spiritual output, and are never used to train persistent language models or profile your behavior.
Asterium firmly maintains a zero-advertising policy. We do not sell your personal data, and your magical records, spell titles, and correspondences are completely hidden from third-party advertisers, brokers, or data analytics trackers.
We believe your spiritual path should remain entirely under your authority. Asterium includes a clear, permanent deletion mechanism directly within the application.
By navigating to your profile page, you can tap the data removal button to instantly and permanently wipe all of your stored spells, AI-generated correspondences, and account records from both the local device and our MongoDB Atlas database servers entirely.
This privacy policy may occasionally be updated to reflect new grimoire modules, security protocols, or adjustments to our backend infrastructure.
Any revised terms will be published straight to this web page with an updated effective date.
