VoxTerm Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Overview

VoxTerm is a terminal application designed for developers to interact with command-line interfaces and manage development workflows.

This Privacy Policy explains what information VoxTerm processes, how it routes data through our shared backend, and how your privacy is protected.

Sign in with Apple

VoxTerm requires user authentication using Apple's "Sign in with Apple" framework to verify your account securely on your iOS and iPadOS devices.

This authentication process is handled securely through your Apple ID, and your personal credentials are never exposed to our systems.

No Backend Storage

While VoxTerm connects to our shared TypeScript backend infrastructure, the application does not use a persistent database.

No command history, configuration files, environment variables, or session logs are stored or saved on our backend servers. Your active sessions exist entirely within your device's memory and local storage.

Command & Terminal Data

Any commands you run, inputs you provide, or outputs generated within VoxTerm are executed locally or securely routed directly to your intended remote hosts.

We do not monitor, inspect, log, or collect the scripts, commands, or code you execute inside the terminal.

Analytics & Tracking

VoxTerm does not sell personal information, track user behavior across external websites, or bundle third-party advertising networks.

Your development environment information, command workflows, and usage statistics remain strictly private and are never shared with or exposed to marketing profiles.

Data Deletion

Because VoxTerm does not maintain a database or store user information on our servers, you remain in absolute control of your data.

Deleting the VoxTerm application from your iOS or iPadOS device instantly wipes all locally cached settings, configurations, and terminal session history.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may occasionally be updated to reflect new terminal features, security updates, or improvements to our shared backend connection.

Updated versions will be published directly on this page with a revised effective date.
